LEARNING ABOUT THE MAGIC OF MOVEMENT AND HOW IT CAN BOOST YOUR HEALTH
There isn’t anything more human than moving our bodies. It’s what we were designed to do.
Exercise, is a hormetic stress. Which means its a beneficial stress to our body, that signals hormones to improve our wellbeing.
Learning about hormetic stressors also leaks into next week, as when we teach our body what “true acute stress” looks like - we build resistance. So when daily stressors happen (which they will) our body is more resistant, and stronger, and able to better deal with these stressors without firing the fight or flight response - draining your nutrients, energy and vitality.
Exercise reduces inflammation, improves insulin sensitivity, balances sex hormones, boosts sex hormones, improves seep, reduces anxiety, boosts mood, improves cognition, improves detoxification pathways, strengthens our bones and so much more!!
Learning how to utilise movement to achieve your goals is what this week is about. We all have different loves, different movement patterns, modalities, and requirements. We might be overly stressed and wired and tired, so doing a HIIT class 4x a week maybe not be the best thing for you right now. Or you’re sitting down all day at work for 8 hours, so maybe getting up every hour and just jumping around for 2 minutes is going to help prevent the inflammation that sitting down all day causes.
Learning how to eat, sleep, move and breathe for your goals all gets combined in this week. As now your guts healing, you’re experiencing more energy, you’re more conscious of your patterns and understanding how we’re going to achieve that ideal version of yourself.
I know a lot of you are already moving your bodies, so for this week, if you feel it’s not applicable and you’re like “girl, I’m already doing all this”, we’ll dedicate this week to focusing on your main health hurdles and how we can work deeper into alleviating that!
