5 Favorite Wellness Products for February 2023

Written By Courtney McMahan, RD

It’s February, and you know what that means: those healthy new year habits are starting to feel harder and harder to keep up with. With the excitement of the holidays gone and spring still so seemingly-far away, it’s easy for that blah feeling to creep in and make you want to drop all your resolutions.

One way you might rekindle some excitement around your health goals and beat the winter blues is to treat yourself to some new wellness products. Here are a few of our favorites to make prioritizing your health easy.

Fruit Infusion Water Pitcher

With the abundance of sodas, teas, coffees, and energy drinks available, sometimes plain water can seem kind of boring. If you want a natural way to add some flavor to your daily hydration, try out this fruit infusion pitcher. You can have dozens of different combinations, all without loading on excessive caffeine and sugar into your diet.

High-Density Foam roller

If you’ve been hitting the gym, running, or even just sitting at a desk for long hours, you need to foam roll. Strain from exercise and daily wear and tear on the body can cause muscle to tighten. A few small studies have shown foam rolling to be effective at easing muscle pain and, when combined with static stretching, increasing range of motion. Additionally, releasing all that tension from your muscles can be super relaxing; it’s like a self massage!

Wellness Journal

When it comes to sticking to your health goals, mindset is one of the most (if not the most) important things to focus on. If your mindset goes down the drain, your healthy habits are typically soon to follow. Journaling is one of the best ways to work on improving your mindset. This particular journal from Papier concentrates on wellness habits. It has space for you to track your mood, to write down your thoughts and feelings, and to set goals and habits that will help you on your journey to feeling like your best self.

Light Therapy Lamp

A 2019 review found that bright-light therapy may help alleviate some symptoms of seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and also those of nonseasonal depression. It is believed that they do so by helping to resynchronize your circadian rhythm and increasing serotonin levels, which has an positive impact on your mood.

This lamp has three brightness levels and does not emit any harmful UV rays. If you do decide to give it a try, make sure to start with a short amount of time (15 minutes or so) first thing in the morning and to have it a safe distance away from your face (30-80 centimeters).

Non-Stick All-in-One Pan

Are your kitchen cabinets full of cluttered cookware of various shapes and sizes? This all-in-one pan is your perfect excuse to clear out the clutter and save yourself hours of kitchen clean-up. It takes the place of eight different types of traditional cookware. It’s deep enough to boil and shallow enough to saute. You can also use it to steam, sear, strain, fry, serve, and store. Plus, the nonstick ceramic coating is free of potentially harmful chemicals, making it great for nontoxic home cooking.
