5 High-Protein Dessert Recipes to Satisfy Your Cravings - TMN's Favorites

Over here at TMN, we understand cravings and we like to teach our clients how to mindfully honor their cravings. We also rarely ask clients to eliminate foods from their diet, and if we are it's probably due to an allergy or intolerance. Our goal is generally to show clients how to fit in their favorite foods while meeting their health goals. We have compiled a list of a few of our favorite desserts that give us a little bang for our buck. Whether it is by adding extra fiber, like the no-bake energy bites or helping bridge your protein gap with the protein mug cake. Try them out and let us know what you think!



Protein Mug Cake

This protein mug cake is a win-win in our book. Not only do you get some extra protein while eating a tasty dessert, but it is easy to make. Add all the ingredients to your coffee mug, give it a good whisk and throw it in the microwave. A little over a minute later you have a warm dessert to enjoy. 

Greek Yogurt Parfait

We don’t have a fancy blog to link for this recipe, it is simply a greek yogurt parfait. Grab your favorite high protein Greek yogurt to get started. We like Siggi’s because it is high in protein and low in added sugars. From there we like to mix and match various toppings depending on our mood. Here are some ideas to get you started- mini chocolate chips, berries, granola, crushed walnuts, peanut butter, unsweetened coconut flakes, diced apples, and sliced bananas. 

Chocolate Banana Cookies

Did you know that the Kodiak pancake brand has an entire blog on their website with recipes? Neither did we and now we are so excited! From breakfast bread recipes to popsicles, they have so many great recipes that we found it hard to pick just one. We ended up picking this chocolate banana cookie recipe which sounds delicious.

No-Bake Energy Bites

These no-bake energy balls are one of our favorite treats to take on the go or to munch on at home when we need something sweet. The peanut butter provides healthy fats and protein- score! And the flaxseed and chia seeds provide a ton of fiber. Pro tip: Make ahead and store in a tupperware container in the refrigerator.

Chocolate Fudge Brownie Cup

We just can’t get enough of Kodiak. Their blog is packed with awesome recipes, but if you haven’t tried their products for purchase, you should. Their line includes waffle mixes, oatmeal cups, brownie cups and more. In favor of this being a dessert article, we selected their Chocolate Fudge Brownie Cup. The cup is premade with everything you need except a liquid. Add water or milk if you’re looking for some extra protein and pop it into the microwave.
