5 Easy Low Calorie Recipes for Summer Backyard BBQ's

Written by Jordyn King BS, MS

Grilled Corn Salad

This is an easy side dish to bring to a family outing, potluck or to enjoy with the family, especially on hot summer days. I would recommend this salad with a protein of some type such as grilled chicken or steak. This is a great low calorie alternative instead of a high calorie creamy pasta salad.

Avocado and White Bean Salad Wraps

This is a 5 star recipe that looks amazing! I will be trying this recipe on my next entertainment house party. This can be a low calorie and high protein snack; however, substituting out regular flour tortilla wraps for lower carbohydrate and added protein wraps is easily to buy at the grocery store and a great option.

These unique Crisply toasted crostini topped with tangy goat cheese, sweet char-grilled apricots, fragrant basil, and a drizzle of golden honey. Delicious!
