Can You Lose Weight Without Falling Vitctim to Diet Culture?

Claiming there is one way to lose weight. When people preach that there is just one way, they are often trying to sell you something. Different methods work for different people, the key is finding a way that will work for you in the long term.
Losing a large amount of weight quickly may seem like a win but it's actually a loss. When you severely restrict your calories, you lose weight quickly but your body becomes malnourished. This puts your body at a higher risk of developing diseases since you don’t have the nutrition to protect yourself.
Don’t take things to the extreme. More is not always the answer. A little protein is good, but don’t go overboard and eat a ton of protein. Walking 10,000 steps a day is good, but don’t go overboard and do 30,000 steps. Incorporate habits that are sustainable in the long term.
