Written By Vanessa Carrillo, BS

Say goodbye to summer with these glorious gin cocktails. Grab a few friends and give them a go! Great drinks don’t have to gear you away from weight loss. These cocktails are great for gathering a crowd or getting ready to unwind. These recipes aren’t ground-breaking but they are gastronomical. Let the good nights begin, go grab a glass of gin.

I will admit, this might not be everyone's favorite drink because of the distinct taste of the kombucha, but the orange juice and fresh mango does the trick! Kombucha has a special taste because it's fermented tea. A unique health benefit from kombucha is the naturally occurring probiotics and antioxidants. Remember, probiotics are good bacteria for your gut. *Clink*

A low sugar, low calorie, and prebiotic version of gin and tonic. Go to your local farmer’s market and grab a fresh packet of strawberries for this drink. Depending on which brand you get, some prebiotic sodas add apple cider vinegar for its prebiotic properties. Apple cider naturally contains pectin-- a natural prebiotic. You will also get a boost of vitamin C from the muddled strawberries. Remember prebiotics feed the good bacteria in your gut. Cheers!
