End of Summer Low Calorie Cocktails | How to Lose Weight Without Giving up Alcohol

Say goodbye to summer with these glorious gin cocktails. Grab a few friends and give them a go! Great drinks don’t have to gear you away from weight loss. These cocktails are great for gathering a crowd or getting ready to unwind. These recipes aren’t ground-breaking but they are gastronomical. Let the good nights begin, go grab a glass of gin.
I will admit, this might not be everyone's favorite drink because of the distinct taste of the kombucha, but the orange juice and fresh mango does the trick! Kombucha has a special taste because it's fermented tea. A unique health benefit from kombucha is the naturally occurring probiotics and antioxidants. Remember, probiotics are good bacteria for your gut. *Clink*
Mango Kombucha Gin Cocktail 96 calories
5 oz. of mango kombucha of your choice
1 oz. of gin of your choice
2 oz. of light orange juice
¼ cup of fresh mango
Lime to taste
Thyme
Directions
Muddle mango in shaker
Add ice
Pour gin and orange juice in shaker
Shake and strain in glass
Pour kombucha
Squeeze lime
Garnish with thyme
A low sugar, low calorie, and prebiotic version of gin and tonic. Go to your local farmer’s market and grab a fresh packet of strawberries for this drink. Depending on which brand you get, some prebiotic sodas add apple cider vinegar for its prebiotic properties. Apple cider naturally contains pectin-- a natural prebiotic. You will also get a boost of vitamin C from the muddled strawberries. Remember prebiotics feed the good bacteria in your gut. Cheers!

6 oz. of strawberry lemonade sparkling prebiotic soda of your choice
1.5 oz. of gin
¼ cup of fresh strawberries
Mint
Ice
Directions
Muddle strawberries in a cup
Add ice

Taking inspiration from the French 75, this low calorie version does not require extra simple syrup since there’s already sugar in the sparkling lemon beverage. No extra sugar and no extra calories. Enjoy!

1 oz. gin
Lemon
Mint
Sugar on rim, optional
Directions
Add gin and ice to shaker
(Add sugar to glass rim now)
Shake and strain into glass
