Foods to Help with Your Hangover | What to Eat When Hungover

By Vanessa Carrillo

Hangovers are probably one of the worst things that comes with drinking. The morning after comes around and your feeling nauseous, dehydrated, and probably have the spins with a pounding headache.

If you’re wondering what foods can make your hangover go away, I have bad news. There is no cure for hangovers, but there are foods that can bring back some lost electrolytes and energy.

Fruits and Vegetables

Rich in antioxidants, go for anything you have in the fridge. Not only are they filled with vitamins but it’ll help hydrate your body.

Carbs

Carbs give us true energy (sorry coffee lovers), so pop in bread in the toaster and start boiling pasta because you’re going to need it. Ramen is an easy choice, here are simple ways to make ramen healthier.

Fluids

Water is great but if you’re bored of water or need more ideas, consider trying other hydrating beverages.

If you find yourself saying you’re never going to drink again after this hangover, consider switching out your gin and tonic for a mocktail or need more ideas on how to have fun without the booze.
